Our Vocational School organized the "Career Chats with Our Alumni" program to broaden our students' professional vision and strengthen their ties with the industry. This significant academic event brought current students and alumni together, creating a productive platform for experience sharing and career planning.
Moderated by Lecturer Dr. Abdullah Bedir Kaya, the program was attended by our Vocational School Director Dr. Özlem Bal, Vice Directors, academic and administrative staff, as well as students from the Computer Programming and Physiotherapy programs.
Alumni Shared Their Experiences The guests of the program were Teacher Seyit Kılıç and Teacher Yusuf Toprakçı, alumni of our Computer Technologies Program who currently serve at the Çorum Municipality Science Center. Our alumni shared their field experiences regarding the management of scientific events, project development processes, and technology-oriented applications. They highlighted how the technical competencies and project culture acquired during their education have contributed to their current career journeys.
TEKNOFEST and Career Opportunities Within the scope of the event, our alumni delivered a comprehensive presentation on TEKNOFEST processes. While detailing competition categories, application procedures, and technical preparation stages, the opportunities offered by the festival such as internships, technical trips, and entrepreneurship support drew great interest from the students. Students had the opportunity to direct their questions regarding sector expectations and career opportunities directly to our alumni.
Presentation of Certificates of Appreciation In the closing session of the event, our Vocational School Director Dr. Özlem Bal presented Certificates of Appreciation to our alumni Seyit Kılıç and Yusuf Toprakçı for their valuable contributions and participation. Emphasizing the role of such events in increasing students' professional motivation, Dr. Özlem Bal stated that our Vocational School will continue to strengthen the alumni-student solidarity.
